Walmart Sex Criminal's Sentence Gives Family Relief
The aunt of an 8-year-old girl who was the victim of a sex crime at the Salem Walmart says her family is relieved now that the offender has been sentenced to a combined 18 1/2 to 37 years in jail for the incident and a similar crime at the Plaistow Walmart, according to the Union Leader.
Ronald Beausoleil, 33, a Level 3 sex offender from Haverhill, Mass., was sentenced to 3 1/2 to 7 years in prison earlier this month after pleading guilty to exposing himself to the 8 year old at the Salem Walmart on Sept. 19, 2011.
On Friday, Beausoleil was sentenced 15 to 30 years in state prison for sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl while she was perusing the toy aisle of the Plaistow Walmart on March 10, 2013. A jury convicted Beausoleil of that crime in November.
