Two Steal Barbecue Sauce, Salad Dressing from Convenience Store

The following arrest information was supplied by the Salem Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

MARCH 31, 2013

4:01 a.m. Caller reporting she was speaking to her daughter on the phone. Her daughter advised her mother that she walked in on her boyfriend and step-mother in bed. She was very upset and stated there was a gun and disconnected.

Officers advise that all parties involved are fine. No problems at this time.

9:56 p.m. Male and female possibly intoxicated stole a bottle of barbecue sauce and salad dressing from Cumberland Farms on 384 S. Broadway St. Vehicle left north on Route 28, possibly heading toward Walmart.

Vehicle was not found in Walmart lot.

APRIL 1, 2013

1:04 p.m. 62-year-old male outside of the nurse's office at Haigh School. Not conscious, not breathing.

Male subject is conscious and breathing now. He will be transported to the hospital by Salem Fire.

2:34 p.m. Caller reporting two male subjects were just inside N.H. Pawnbroker Services on 351 S. Broadway St. attempting to pawn jewelry and diamonds. When asked they said it belonged to their girlfriend and they abruptly left.

Two males were in a black sport utility vehicle that left northbound on Route 28 with an unknown Massachusetts plate.

Officers checked the area with nothing showing at this time.

4:10 p.m. Mother called 911 requesting an officer on Wesley Lane for her 16-year-old son who is refusing to give her his car keys. She found him operating recklessly and was taking them away. He finally gaver her the keys and proceeded to grab a knife from the kitchen and threaten to harm himself. Caller stated her son had gone up to his room and was slamming his door. It is unknown if the son still has the knife in his possession.

Salem Fire called out for a voluntary transport.

5:05 p.m. 911 call reporting he was threatened with a lead pipe by his landlord. While speaking with the caller he requested the police department not come to the house as he feels this would make matters worse.

6:04 p.m. Daniel W. Runge, 20, of 364 Merrimack St. Apt. 2 in Manchester, N.H. is arrested at KMart on 161 S. Broadway St. and charged with willful concealment – theft. Runge bailed at $620 cash.

9:53 p.m. Maura C. Laughlin, 27, of 260 Bartlett St. Apt. 2 in Manchester N.H. is arrested at KMart on 161 Broadway St. and charged with willful concealment – theft and arrest on a warrant. Laughlin refusing the services of the bail commissioner. The warrant will be faxed to the jail.
