The news was reported by the Eagle Tribune today.

A Lawrence police officer already charged with child rape in Florida will see a sexual assault complaint from 2005 reopened by Salem Police, according to a report this morning by the Eagle Tribune.

According to the report, Salem Police are taking another look at Carlos Gonzalez, 48, in light of the new charges being brought against him. The complaint investigated in 2005 was related to a report received that Gonzalez was involved with a minor in Newton, N.H. back in 1994. No charges were filed at that time.
