Salem Police Make Another Heroin Bust

Five people were arrested on drug charges and six on theft charges in one 24-hour period.

Salem Police arrested five people on drug charges and six people for theft on Wednesday.

The drug arrests were as follows:

  • At 12:11 a.m., Pelham Police arrested Michael Taylor, 24, of Pelham on Salem warrants for two counts of Oxycontin sales and two counts of transporting a controlled drug. Salem Police took custody of him without incident. He was later released on $10,000 cash bail.
  • At 2:06 p.m., Shawn Deprey, 21, of New Britain, CT was summonsed to court for marijuana possession and transportation of drugs in a motor vehicle.
  • At 6:02 p.m., Luis Ortiz, 23, and Yeltsin Colon, 22, both of Lawrence, MA were arrested for marijuana possession.
  • At 8:12 p.m., Salem Police detectives received information and worked with Manchester Police detectives to take two suspects into custody for attempting to sell 50 grams of heroin to undercover officers. The suspect's vehicle was seized and is awaiting a search. Leonela Delacruz, 20, and Reynaldo Dejesus-Sanchez, 32, both of Lawrence, MA were arrested for heroin sales and later transported to Rockingham County Jail pending arraignment.

The theft arrests were as follows:

  • At 11 a.m., Salem Police took Theodore Hebert, 23, of Salem and Daniel Crane, 28, of Pelham into custody on warrants for theft by unauthorized taking. Hebert was held on a probation violation and Crane was released on $200 cash bail.
  • At 6:49 p.m., Salem Police arrested Vielka Gonzalez, 31, of Lawrence, MA and Markienny Feliz, 19, of Lowell MA for willful concealment at Lord & Taylor at the Mall at Rockingham Park. Both were released on $620 cash bail.
  • At 7:10 p.m., Salem Police took Krystal Clinton, 29, of Londonderry into custody for willful concealment at Home Depot. She was found hiding in a McDonald's bathroom and was later released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail.
  • At 8:58 p.m., Salem Police took Jessica Berry, 22, of Tewksbury, MA into custody for willful concealment, resisting arrest, and falsifying physical evidence after an incident at Kmart. She was held on $500 cash bail.
