Police Prevent Moose from Crossing Onto Route 28
Four officers redirected the moose after it came out of the woods and appeared outside a 288 North Broadway business late Tuesday.
A moose wandered onto the Grand Turf Depot site late Tuesday, prompting four Salem police officers to take quick action to prevent the animal from crossing into Route 28 traffic, according to the Eagle-Tribune.
The Eagle-Tribune has reported that moose appeared on the 288 North Broadway business' property around 10:30 p.m.
Police couldn't immediately be reached for comment. More information to come.
