Enterasys to Relocate in Salem in 2013

The former Cabletron spinoff will bring 540 to Salem, according to the Union leader.

The Union Leader reported on Tuesday that Enterasys, a global hardware, software and communications company, announced they will relocate from their Andover, Mass., facility to Salem in January 2013.

The move will bring 540 jobs to Salem, the paper reported. They will be located at 9 Northeastern Blvd. in 190,000 square feet of space and construction will begin in April, the Union Leader reported.

Enterasys CEO and President Chris Crowell said shifting to the Granite state "will reduce our costs and allow us to increase our investment in strategic initiatives in R&D and in customer-facing areas," the paper reported.
