Salem's Schultz to Fight at the Rock

Combat Zone MMA makes it its return to Rockingham Park April 27.

Intense and exciting mixed martial arts action returns to when many of the top professionals and amateurs in the Northeast square off in Combat Zone's "Cage Rage at The Rock" on Friday, April 27. 

Ray Shawdee (2-1-0) of Lowell, Mass., will be featured in the main event at 170 pounds and Salem's own Aaron Schultz (2-1-0) takes on up-and-coming fighter Leon Davis (1-0-0), who racked up an impressive 5-1 record as an amateur and is from Springfield, MA, in the co-main event also for welterweights. The card of four professional and nine amateur fights is stocked with competitive match-ups that ensure an exciting night of MMA.

The undercard features tough and talented fighters from across New Hampshire and the Merrimack Valley who train at the top studios. The entire fight card, which is subject to change, may be viewed at www.czmma.com. 

Tickets are $40 for general admission, $50, $75, $90 and $120 for ringside seating and parking is free. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the first fight is scheduled for 8 p.m. To order tickets, email: melissa@czmma.com or call 978-360-3846.

The weigh-in will be held on Thursday, April 26 in the Sports Club at Rockingham Park and it begins at 5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, who will have the chance to meet their favorite fighters and get autographs and photos.
