Salem Fishing Derby April 26
The fishing derby is free and open to children 15 years old and younger.
Salem's Fishing Derby at Hedgehog Park is on April 26.
The event is free – and rain or shine – and open to children 15 years old and younger.
The Greater Salem NH Rotary Club, the sponsor, and Salem Recreation organize this popular event annually. Participants sign up on the day of the derby:
- Children 8 years old and younger register between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. and fish from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
- Children ages 9 to 15 register at 9:30 a.m. and fish between 10:20 a.m. and 11:20 a.m.
