Salem Bats Come Alive, but Team Outpaced by Goffstown

The two NH Little League District One teams play again tonight in Manchester.

The Salem Youth Baseball players' bats came alive during the New Hampshire Little League District One tournament action Monday, but they couldn't keep pace with the timely hits from opposing Goffstown.

Goffstown won, 19 to 9, setting up the final showdown between the two teams tonight, July 30.

The big hits for Salem in a run-packed 1st inning included Brandon Wall plating two runners and home runs by Chris Jones and Mark Kassis.

In the New Hampshire District One 10-11 double elimination bracket, the two teams meet for the third time at 5:30 p.m. at Manchester's Central Field.
