Michael Delahanty, Salem Superintendent of Schools, announced that the Salem School District has launched a new web site to keep the Salem community informed of ongoing progress related to Phase II of the Facility Renovation Plan. The site is intended as the primary source of information for the Project. The web site, located at http://www.sau57.org/renovation, will include site plans, building plans, project schedules, frequently asked questions, and more.  Regular progress reports and milestone steps will be posted in an effort to keep the entire community up to date on the project.

Phase II of the Salem School District’s Facility Renovation Plan addresses renovations and expansion of two elementary schools: Fisk and Soule, as well as modest facility  improvements to Haigh School. At Fisk and Soule, the project addresses small group instruction space and accommodates kindergarten classrooms, thereby eliminating several portable classrooms. At all three schools, the project will further strengthen safety and security issues.
