Salem Restaurant Fined for Giving Away Free Drinks

Another Salem business was fined for refilling liquor bottles.

The New Hampshire State Liquor Commission imposed a $250 fine on a Salem restaurant, Wasabi Sushi Hibachi at 236 North Broadway, for giving away "free drinks to customers, patrons, members or guests."

The liquor license infraction occurred on June 25 and the fine payment acknowledged at the State Liquor Commission's meeting July 24.

Another Salem restaurant, Yang Ming Restaurant at 341 South Broadway, was fined $500 for "refilling bottles of legally purchased beverage or liquor," according to the commission.
