Obama Road Tests DNC Speech in NH

Obama in Portsmouth today said he needed four more years to finish what he started.

President Obama regaled a crowd of thousands Friday with the story of his visit to Portsmouth before he was elected in 2008, about how he ate ice cream and enjoyed some improv theater across Marcy Street. It was one of the last quiet moments he had before ascending to the presidency, he said.

But his speech was laced with a solemn solicitation: "I need your help, New Hampshire," Obama said.

Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden visited Strawbery Banke on Friday to urge people to help convince their fellow residents of what is at stake on Nov. 6.

Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, responding to Obama's visit, cited a "dismal" jobs report Friday as proof that America needs a change in leadership.

"For every net new job created, nearly four Americans gave up looking for work entirely. This is more of the same for middle class families who are suffering through the worst economic recovery since the Great Depression," Romney said. "After 43 straight months of unemployment above 8 percent, it is clear that President Obama just hasn't lived up to his promises and his policies haven't worked."

Obama has ruined this country in less than 4 years! He has not produced a budget in 3 years, has not met with his Cabinet and,due to his limited experience, has no idea how to run a government!! He has lied to us on numerous occasions but then again that is how Chicago politicians are!! He is not willing to sit down & negotiate because it is his way or the highway!! He has spent trillions with no return!! His energy policy is a joke, his foreign policy is a joke and his domestic policy is a joke!! He fired the CEO of GM for poor performance, it is now time to FIRE OBAMA for poor performance!!

Nikki, can you please explain to me how the president is working as hard as he can with the number of golf games and vacations he has taken vs. the number of budgets he has gotten past alone. Maybe I'm missing something here, but taking multiple vacations while your job is undone does not equate to "working as hard as he can".

My bad on the autocorrect, that should have read "passed", not "past"

You're so right, News Flash! I didn't vote for Obama for either term because I saw him for what he is from the get-go: Like his predecessor(s) and opponent(s), Obama is an arrogant, glad-handing, mealy-mouthed, slithering, two-headed snake who pretends to have the people's interests at heart, but, in fact, is so full of bulls**t that it stinks...all the way from high heaven to hell...and back again.
