Conservative Group to Hold Healthcare Freedom Rally in Salem

The event will be held on Tuesday at Southern New Hampshire University's Salem campus.

Building on the release of two new television ads holding ObamaCare supporters Reps. Carol Shea-Porter and Ann Kuster accountable for the impact of the law, Americans for Prosperity–New Hampshire today announced two additional events to continue these efforts.

On Tuesday, March 4th, AFP-NH will hold a Healthcare Freedom Rally in Salem and on March 18th, AFP-NH will hold a second ObamaCare “Real People, Real Stories” event in Portsmouth. Additionally, there will be a series of college events starting in March, with the first events held with student at Dartmouth College and the University of New Hampshire.

“AFP has been leading efforts across New Hampshire against ObamaCare since 2009 – before this debacle even became law,” said Greg Moore, AFP-NH State Director. “We will continue our commitment to hold those officials who support this bad law accountable for their actions. Rep. Shea-Porter voted for ObamaCare, and has consistently voted against efforts to fix it. Rep. Kuster didn’t get a chance to vote for ObamaCare, but has fully embraced it, even after seeing the law’s disastrous effects. Both need to understand the chaos this law is causing to the lives of many of their constituents.”

At the Salem event Tuesday, Donna Marzullo, who is featured in an ad currently airing in New Hampshire, will address the audience. That event will be held at Southern New Hampshire University’s Salem Campus building at 25 Pelham Rd at 6:30 PM.  The event will also include other local officials talking about the impact of ObamaCare.

“Despite Senator Harry Reid’s effort to smear hard-working New Hampshire residents like Donna, she will get her chance to talk about how ObamaCare has turned her health care upside down, cost her the healthcare plan she liked and raised her premiums,” added Moore. “These are the real stories that cannot be denied or swept under the rug. There is no question that ObamaCare is hurting New Hampshire and it’s time to fight back.”
