VIDEO: Questions Answered at NH Casino Now Forum

About 130 people turned out to the Elks for the discussion.

Local expanded gambling advocacy group NH Casino Now hosted a forum Thursday night at the Salem/Derry Elks Lodge where locals were able to ask questions about what a possible casino could mean for Salem.

Salem businessman Larry Belair moderated the forum which was attended by about 130 people, including numerous local candidates for office and elected, community and business leaders.

Two members of the panel came to Salem from Pennsylvania, the Meadows Casino General Manager Sean Sullivan and Washington County, Pa. Chamber of Commmerce President Jeff Kotula.

Also on the panel were Salem Police Chief Paul Donovan and Scott Spradling, president of the Spradling Group and a consultant to Millennium Gaming, the company that owns the Meadows and holds an option to turn Salem's Rockingham Park into a casino should expanded gambling legislation pass.
