The incident remains under investigation.

Police are searching for a suspect in a reported robbery attempt that took place July 4 on Range Road in Windham.

On Monday, Windham Police were not disclosing the name of the man involved in the alleged incident.

According to Windham Police Capt. Mike Caron, two Salem residents were arrested for their reported involvement in the matter.

Keith Beal, 19, of 88 N. Main St. and Jake Williams, 19, also of 88 N. Main St. have both been charged with criminal liability for conduct of another.

The third suspect is wanted on charges of attempted robbery and criminal threatening with a firearm.

The incident reportedly took place around 7:30 p.m. at the residence of Joseph Terrell, 21, of 4 Range Road.

According to Caron, the suspect pulled a gun on Terrell. Following a physical altercation over the gun, the suspect fled the scene in a Ford F-250 along with two men believed to be Beal and Williams.

According to Salem arrest logs, the vehicle was stopped turning on Dyer Avenue in Salem. The third suspect reportedly jumped out of the truck and fled on foot after the vehicle crossed into Salem.

Caron said that both Beal and Williams were identified by Terrell as being at the scene at the time of the incident.

Caron said that injuries to Terrell, if any, were minor, and that he wasn't transported to the hospital. He wouldn't release any further details while the incident is currently under investigation.
