She allegedly received $602 from the store in exchange for the jewelry, which belonged to a Christine Diodati.
  • Justin F. Haggar, 24, of 22 Saxonia Ave., Apt. 2, in Lawrence, Mass., was indicted on a Class B felony count of attempted theft by unauthorized taking. Haggar, who has twice been convicted on felony or misdemeanor theft charges, allegedly shoplifted clothing from Kohl's on June 7.

Laliberte allegedly told store staff that she would come back into the store to pay for the items, although she never did. On Aug. 29, Schneider allegedly got K-Mart to give her store credit while she returned curtain sets she never purchased, in addition to illegally obtaining a fleece blanket from the store. Schneider has been convicted twice before on theft or property or services charges.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt or conviction; rather, it means a grand jury believed there was sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.
