Serious Motorcycle Crash Reported in Salem
The accident occurred around 4 p.m. on Route 111.
Emergency crews are at the scene of a serious motorcycle accident on Route 111.
The initial call came in around 4 p.m. Monday, according to emergency radio broadcasts. The crash reportedly occurred on Route 111 at Ermer Road.
Emergency personnel at the scene said a female passenger on the motorcycle suffered a severe leg injury. She is reportedly being transported to Lawrence (MA) General Hospital for transport to Boston via medical helicopter.
