Salem Woman Charged with Assault

Several accidents were also reported to police.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Salem Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Nov. 7

  • 11:02 a.m.: Police received a report of a 3-vehicle accident with no injury on South Broadway.
  • 11:04 a.m.: A School Street resident reported that a man had been illegally dumping items at his property.
  • 2:29 p.m.: Police received a report of an accident on Geremonty Drive.
  • 3:32 p.m.: Police received a report of an accident on Main Street.
  • 3:54 p.m.: Amanda Paige Cail, 19, of 2 Adam Court, Apt. #0, Salem was charged with simple assault. She was released on $500 personal recognizance bail.
  • 4:44 p.m.: Police received a report of an accident on Stiles Road.
  • 5:33 p.m.: An employee at Ski Haus on South Broadway reported that a male subject left the store with an unknown amount of North Face jackets.
  • 8:38 p.m.: An employee at Market Basket on South Broadway reported that two juveniles attempted to walk out with unpaid merchandise. When stopped, they ran. Police located one of the juveniles, and released him to the custody of his mother.
  • 8:43 p.m.: Samantha Catherine Moore, 20, of 20 High St., Apt. #1, Goffstown was charged with willful concealment, theft after an alleged shoplifting incident at Kohl's on Cluff Crossing Road. She was released on a summons.
