Salem PD Nabs Duo Linked to Hooksett Shooting
Police say a man was shot in the chest with a 9 mm hand gun in the early morning hours of July 31.
Salem police officers apprehended two people wanted in connection with an early morning shooting at a gas station in Hooksett, as the duo was speeding down Interstate 93 without highlights.
Police identified the man as Orlando Quintana, of Lynn, Mass., and a woman in Honda mini-van, were apprehended without incident July 31. Hooksett police said the man, in its be-on-the-lookout advisory issued at 1:47 a.m., was wanted in connection with a shooting in which a man was shot in the chest with a 9 mm Ruger hand gun.
WMUR-TV reports that the gun shot victim went into the Irving station for help and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Ana Koufos, 29, of Revere, Mass., was charged with reckless operation and operating after suspension.
Noon, July 31 update: Due to misinformation, a police press release earlier today mis-identified the man apprehended on I-93 in Salem. Police say the man was Orlando Quintana, of Lynn, Mass.
