Salem Man Arrested for Strangulation, Vandalism

JANUARY 3, 2013

3:01 p.m. James Patrick Hughes, 52, of 100 Merrimack Ave. Apt. 129 in Dracut, Mass is arrested at 9 Veterans Memorial Parkway and charged with fraudulent use of a crdit card.

3:35 p.m. Tina A. Paradis, 37, of 47 Lowell St. In Methuen, Mass. is arrested at Target on 205 S. Broadway St. and charged with willful concealment – theft. She was released on $500 cash bail.

4:34 p.m. Motor vehicle accident with injuries is reported at Weathervane on 41 S. Broadway St.

8:12 p.m. Lisa Ann Dalicandro, 23, of 44 Chatham Circle in Salem, N.H. is arrested at Market Basket on 265 S. Broadway St. and charged with attempt to commit theft by deception and possession of controlled/narcotic drugs. Bail was set at $1,000 personal recognizance.

8:30 p.m. Daniel R. LeBlanc, 34, of 101 Main St. Apt 6 in Salem, N.H. is arrested at 101 Main St. and charged with simple assault – domestic violence, criminal mischief (vandalism), criminal trespass and second degree assault (strangulation). Bail was set at $1,000 cash.

10:20 p.m. Suspicious activity is reported at 2 S. Policy St. and 0 Red Roof Lane. Caller reported that for the last 3-4 nights there was a car parked at the end of Red Roof Lane. The vehicle would sit there from about midnight to 1:30 a.m., running with its lights on, then leave.
