Salem Fire Trains at Alfred Drive Home

Last Thursday, the Salem Fire Department conducted live fire training at a residence at 21 Alfred Dr., in Salem.

In a statement, Deputy Chief Paul Leischner said the training was conducted in compliance with all

Leischner also thanked the Londonderry, Kingston and Methuen, Mass. Fire Departments for their support.

"This rare opportunity has provided nearly 40 firefighters with the most realistic training available," Leischner said. "This type of training simply cannot be duplicated or simulated. These firefighters now have more experience to make them safer in the future and be better able to serve our citizens."
