NH Fire Marshal to ID Danville Fire Victim

The person's name is expected to be released April 2 after Chief Medical Examiner review.

Authorities plan to identify the victim of a house fire in Danville by Wednesday, New Hampshire State Fire Marshal J. William Degnan, Danville Fire Chief Steve Woitkun and Danville Police Chief Wade Parsons announced.

Positive identification is expected April 2 after review by the Chief Medical Examiner's office.

The fire was at the residence at 52 Pine St., in Danville, on March 31.

As the investigation is continuing, the fire marshal and fire chief reminded residents to practice fire safety and install and maintain smoke detectors and CO detectors.
