Medication, Jewelry Stolen from Salem Home

Police also received a report of someone threatening to shoot his neighbor.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Salem Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Oct. 24

  • 8 a.m.: Thomas R. George, 18, of 103 Cluff Crossing Road, Salem was charged with two counts of first degree assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly stabbing his mother. 
  • 11:22 a.m.: Police received a report of an accident on Main Street.
  • 11:31 a.m.: Police received a report of an accident involving a dump truck and a car on South Policy Street.
  • 12:09 p.m.: A Hitty Road resident reported that someone broke into his house and stole a gold bracelet and some medication.
  • 12:28 p.m.: Police received a report of an accident on Main Street.
  • 5:04 p.m.: Police received a report of an accident on North Broadway.
  • 5:47 p.m.: Police received a report of an accident on South Broadway.
  • 10:16 p.m.: A caller on Hampshire Street reported that her neighbor was outside the building yelling to the neighbor above him, saying he was going to shoot him.
