A 24-year-old man was arrested at Salem Plaza on Friday for attempting to sell Cocaine, according to Salem Police.
Jeffrey Ramos, 24, of Lawrence, Mass. was charged with possession with intent to distribute (Cocaine), possession of controlled drugs (Cocaine) and transportation of drugs.
Officers were conducting surveillance in the plaza after acting on a tip that a man was attempting to sell Cocaine.
Police spotted Ramos and determined he was there to sell the drug after a brief investigation.
Officers found a small amount of Cocaine in a shoe box in Ramos' car.
He was taken into custody without incident and later released on $2,000 cash bail.
