Maine Man Arrested in Fraudulent Prescriptions Investigation

Maine man to be arraigned in Salem on Monday, according to NH State Police.

New Hampshire State Police said a Maine man was arrested Friday after a month-long investigation into fraudulent prescriptions.

The State Police Narcotics & Investigations Unit, Drug Diversion Section, said William Hutchings, 66, of Portland, Maine, was charged with three counts of uttering a fraudulent prescription.

He was arrested in Portland and transported to the Rockingham County jail, where he refused bail.

Police said Hutchings is scheduled for arraignment Monday, June 30, in the 10th Circuit Court, Salem District Court.
