Kmart Shoplifters Reportedly Fled on Bikes
The following arrest information was supplied by the Salem Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Tuesday, Sept. 10
- 11:28 a.m.: A 2-car accident with no injury was reported on Cluff Crossing Road.
- 11:49 a.m.: A 2-car accident with no injury was reported on North Broadway.
- 2:06 p.m.: A caller on Howard Street reported that she heard a loud explosion and her power was out. The outage was due to a blown transformer.
- 3:36 p.m.: A loss prevention employee at Kmart on South Broadway reported that three youths stole merchandise and left on bikes.
- 6:10 p.m.: A counterfeit $10 bill was reportedly passed at Game Stop on Cluff Crossing Road.
