Judge Dismisses Perjury Charge Against Michael Ferreira

Court action involved charges related to the 'cold case' murder of John McCabe.

A judge in Massachusetts has dismissed a perjury charge against Michael Ferreira, seven months after the Salem man was cleared of the murder of a teen in Tewksbury, Mass., the Lowell Sun reports.

Ferreira was arrested in 2011 and charged in the "cold case" murder of 15-year-old John McCabe, and acquitted last January, according to Tewksbury Patch.
