Guitar Amps Reported Stolen from Salem Home

A woman was also charged following a shoplifting incident at Lowe's.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Salem Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Oct. 29

  • 11:28 a.m.: A resident of North Main Street reported mailbox damage.
  • 12:59 p.m.: Police received a report of an accident on Wheeler Avenue.
  • 4:21 p.m.: Police received a report of illegal dumping in a dumpster on North Broadway.
  • 5:32 p.m.: Maureen Elizabeth Laplume, 29, of 5 Teetop Way, Methuen, MA was charged with willful concealment; theft after an alleged shoplifting incident at Lowe's on South Broadway. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail.
  • 8:13 p.m.: A Brookdale Road resident reported the theft of guitar amps.
