Alleged Drug Dealer Arrested After Ramming Cruisers

Local sheriffs and police apprehended a Lawrence man who was reportedly selling heroin and crack.

A Windham Police cruiser and Rockingham County Sheriff's Department vehicle both sustained minor damage Wednesday after a suspect struck both cars with his own vehicle while attempting to evade capture.

According to the Lawrence Eagle- Tribune, Jonathan Delgado, 29, of Lawrence, is being held on $50,000 cash bail after a Rockingham County Sheriff's Drug Task Force investigation led to a warrant for his arrest. He is charged with seven counts of selling crack cocaine and heroin.

Though no officers were injured in the incident, which occurred near the intersection of Route 111 and Range Road, Delgado has also been booked for resisting arrest, disobeying an officer, reckless operation, criminal mischief and possession of marijuana, according to the report.
