Salem Resident of Five Decades Dies at 77

Ella M. (Middlemiss) DeSantis age 77 of Salem, NH, died Sunday at the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA.

She was born in Lawrence, MA, grew up and was educated in Methuen, MA. She was a resident of Salem for the past 52 years.

Ella was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Ella was one of 13 children. She was predeceased by her son Richard DeSantis.

She is survived by her husband Richard DeSantis of Salem, NH

Son: Russell & his wife Sharon DeSantis of Manchester, NH

Daughters: Donna & her husband Anthony Lomuscio of Salem, NH

Darline Orlando of Salem, NH

11 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews

Calling hours were held Tuesday, July 2nd from 4-7 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, July 3rd at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
