Patricia Trusty, 62: Loving Soul, 'One Tough Cookie'

The Salem High School alumnae was also an avid bowler and pinball player, and "always found ways to bring wisdom, joy and laughter to the lives she touched."

Patricia L. Trusty age 62 of Salem, NH, died January 15th at the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH.

She was born in Contra Costa, CA and grew up and was educated in Salem, NH, where she graduated from Salem High School. She later received her bachelor’s degree from Emerson College.

Patricia was an intelligent, kind and loving soul. She always found ways to bring wisdom, joy and laughter to the lives she touched.

In her earlier years she was big into theater and was a seamstress for the Boston Opera House. She was an excellent cook and loved to garden. She could often be found down at Park Place Lanes showing her competitors that she was “one tough cookie”. She was an avid pinball player and loved taking her dog Gizmo by the lake and relaxing.

She is survived by her daughter: Danielle Trusty of Salem, NH

Brother: Michael and his wife Beverly Emmert-Trusty of Salem, NH

Several nieces and nephews including, Dawn Trusty of Pelham, NH, and Tracy Trusty-Neveu of Hampstead, NH.

Memorial visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 24th from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH. Funeral services will be private at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the NH Food Bank, 700 East Industrial Park Dr, Manchester, NH 03109, or to the American Red Cross, PO Box 4002018, Des Moines, IA 50340-2018
