Modern Man Concert April
19th
Due to scheduling problems with Buskin
& Batteau, the New Moon Coffeehouse is happy to present Modern Man,
David Buskin’s other musical collaboration, in their place. Modern Man will
perform at the New Moon Coffeehouse on Saturday April 19th at 8:00
pm. Local folk favorite Linda Sharar opens the evening. The coffeehouse is
located in the Unitarian Universalist Church, 16 Ashland St, Haverhill MA.
Admission to the show is $20; $10 for those ages 18 and under.
David Buskin, Rob Carlson and George Wurzbach are three celebrated singers and songwriters. They
are all terrific instrumentalists with gorgeous voices and hilarious wits.
Together they are Modern Man, the funniest musical comedy act around. Modern
Man had audiences in stitches across the country from 1998 to 2010. Then the
trio went their separate ways to pursue other musical interests. Just this
year—in 2014 - Modern Man reunited and are touring again. The New Moon is very
proud to be one of the first to present the funniest men of music, Modern Man.
Tickets for this show are
available at the door starting around 6:30; doors open at 7:30. Tickets may be
reserved prior to the show by visiting www.newmooncoffeehouse.org, or by
calling 978-459-5134.
The New
Moon Coffeehouse is a nonprofit, an all-volunteer organization dedicated to
supporting and enjoying the creative talents of acoustic performers. We
strive to bring you the best performers in a relaxing, friendly, smoke and
alcohol free environment, where you can enjoy a great show, good coffee, and
awesome desserts.
The easiest
way to get to the coffeehouse is to take 495 to exit
51A (Route 125 South). Stay on Route 125 South for about 1.5 miles. At
intersection of Routes 125 & 110, look left for a red brick church.
Turn left onto Ashland Street, which is just after Kenoza Ave (aka Rte 110).
Parking lots are available behind the church, on both sides of Ashland St. The
coffeehouse entrance is also there, at the back of the church.
