Winter Crossroads Ceílí Dance

Come to the Winter Crossroads Ceili, where NH, ME and MA meet to set dance!  Being held Saturday, January
19th, 4pm- 8pm at the John F. Hill Grange Hall, 1412 State Road (Route 103), Eliot, Maine,  just outside of Portsmouth
and Kittery. For your dancing pleasure we have fantastic, lively music by the Seacoast Ceili Band -  some of the best
Irish trad-musicians from the Boston area.  Grab a friend, put on your dancing shoes, and get ready for a great time! You're going to be surrounded by happy people and
Irish tunes that will set your toes to bouncing, your face to grinning, and your heart to pattering to an Irish jig.  Come to dance, listen to the music, laugh with friends, and make new friends. Don't know how to set dance? (Did you just put a "p" in there and think step dance as in Riverdance?)  Not to worry - set dancing is a totally different style of Irish country-folk dance, similar to square dancing or circle dancing, but done to lively Irish music.  Still not sure?  Come early to the ceili or join us at one of our Friday night classes in Durham, NH,  and we'll have you jigging in no time!   And you don't have to be Irish either!  Wear
smooth, leather-soled shoes.  Please bring finger-food to share.  $10/per person.  No alcohol allowed in the
hall.  Contact Sue Dunlavey at
603-749-1038; sue@seacoastsetdancers.org,  www.SeacoastSetDancers.org  for more information and to check status in case of poor weather conditions.
