Brown Airs Ad on Favorite Subject (Not His Truck)

Brown's top issue on the campaign trail: the Affordable Care Act.

Republican Senate candidate Scott Brown released a new radio ad warning about the Affordable Care Act's burden on businesses.

The so-called Obamacare mandate in January will not discriminate in its impact on businesses in New Hampshire, according to Brown.

Brown says in the ad, "President Obama and Senator Shaheen forced on us a health care system that doesn't work. It hurt families, took away their options, and next year, it gets worse. Businesses will be mandated to offer coverage, which means higher costs and fewer jobs."

Obamacare is one of the issues Brown and Republican rivals find agreement. Jim Rubens, Bob Smith and Karen Testerman have campaigned against the health care law. Andy Martin is also running for the GOP nomination. Gardner Goldsmith has announced he is a Libertarian candidate looking forward to challenge the incumbent, U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-NH, in November.

The state primary is Sept. 9.
