Windham's Loss is Salem's Gain as New Business Moves to Town

Body Armor Outlet, a police-friendly business, will soon hold an open house for its new store in Salem.

For years, Body Armor Outlet has been a staple at 50 Haverhill Road in Windham.

Those days have passed.

The business, popular among law enforcement agencies and personnel, has moved to Salem, where it has rooted itself at the former location of 'Lighting 101' on Route 111, according to Digital Journal.

The new facility at 26 Ermer Road offers more space – 6,000 sq. ft., in fact – for the thriving business, which began roughly seven years ago in a dorm room.

The company will hold an open house on Friday, Dec. 13.
