Visions For Vacancies: 385E South Broadway

Each week share your ideas for vacant commercial space.

Welcome to the return of Salem Patch's "Visions for Vacancies" feature. Each week, we'll share a picture and some information about a vacant commercial space in town and ask you what you'd like to see go in that space.

This week we take you to 385E South Broadway for a vacant commerical space in Nettles Plaza.

According to information available from the Vision Appraisal assessor's online database of Salem properties, the entire parcel is valued at $3,702,400.

The property has been owned by Nettles Limited Partnership of Windham since 1985 when it was purchased for an undisclosed price. The building was constructed in 1985 and has a full living area of 4,476 square feet.

In the comment section below, we ask you to post your ideas for what type of business you'd like to see in this space.

I would love to see a Panera Bread open up in Salem. I hate having to travel to Derry or Nashua for my fresh soup and sandwich fix!!

I find it hard to believe we don't have a Panera Bread!!! It would be such a big hit, they would do great in Salem. I agree and many of my friends and I have talked about how we wish they would come to town.

I think it would do very well here Stephanie! I work in Nashua very close to one and believe me, they get a ton of business. They also cater most of our work lunches. Who can we email??? :)
