Salem Orange Leaf Could Open Next Month

The new storefront will be located between 389 and 396 Main St.

Orange Leaf, a national self-serve frozen yogurt chain, could open its new Salem location next month.

Company spokesman Richard Mills said Monday that Orange Leaf's new storefront between 389 and 396 Main St. could open as early as March. The expansion to Salem will coincide with new stores in Bedford, Derry and Seabrook, all of which are supposed to be open by July.

Orange Leaf got its start in California in 2008, and is now based out of Oklahoma City, Okla. Orange Leaf has more than 60 regular flavors, and each location has 16 flavors available at a time. Customers choose their own flavors and toppings, and are charged using a weigh-and-pay system.
