Laconia Motorcycle Week Rolls into NH

Governor Hassan, with a plug for tax-free shopping, welcomes thousands of motorcyclists to the Granite State.

Thousands of motorcyclists from around the country and Canada will roll into New Hampshire this weekend for the 91st Laconia Motorcycle Week, which runs from June 14 to June 22.

Gov. Maggie Hassan welcomes riders to the Granite State on the Laconia Motorcycle Week's website, and offers thanks for hundreds of thousands of dollars being raised for philanthropic efforts – and the millions of dollars that Bike Week pumps into New Hampshire's economy.

"During your visit to New Hampshire, I hope you will take time to discover all that our state has to offer," Hassan says. "As you travel around our state, take advantage of the many opportunities to enjoy our awe-inspiring natural beauty, historic sites and landmarks, exhilarating outdoor recreational activities, and great tax-free shopping. I hope you have a pleasant time in New Hampshire and that you will come back again and again."

The week is packed with events in greater Laconia and central New Hampshire, but motorcyclists ride all around the state.

Some of the events on tap include:

  • June 15, NH Motor Speedway, U.S. Vintage Motorcycle Grand Prix racing on the track; U.S. Classic Racing Association has a road course, too.
  • American Police Motorcycle Museum – ride your pre-1970 motorcycle to the museum and receive a free museum gift June 15.
  • June 20, 7 p.m., Meadowbrook presents Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss and Kacey Musgraves.
See the Laconia Motorcycle Week's website for a full schedule, June 14 to June 22.
