Four Local Businesses to Receive 2014 Business Pillar Awards

Winners will be recognized at Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Breakfast April 17.

Four Salem businesses have been chosen as the recipients of the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce’s 2014 Business Pillar Awards.

The awards recognize and honor companies for outstanding achievements and contributions to the community at large and are given in four categories: large business, small business, non-profit and new business.

This year’s winners are Palmer Gas/Ermer Oil, Santo Insurance & Financial Services, Salem Family Resources/Success by 6 and Tuscan Brands.

All four winners will be recognized at the Sixth Annual Economic Development Breakfast on Thursday, April 17 from, 7:30 – 10: a.m., at Castleton Event and Banquet Center, 92 Indian Rock Road, Windham, NH.  The event, entitled “Modern Economy,” will address innovations in technology to help businesses increase their bottom line and succeed in the digital economy. The breakfast will feature industry experts from Google and Microsoft, along with a Broadband Update by the NH Department of Resources and Economic Development. Exhibitors from technology-based businesses will be on hand to showcase their products.  Pentucket Bank is the event’s Platinum Sponsor.

Tickets to the Economic Development Breakfast, which includes a full breakfast buffet, are $25 in advance, $30 at the door and are available by calling the Chamber office at 603.893.3177 or at www.Eventbrite.com.
