A new petting zoo and live entertainment are among the many activities also on tap during Canobie Lake Park's fall season.

Not ready to leave summer behind quite yet? Canobie Lake Park is open each weekend during October with a range of fall events that is unrivaled in New England.

Canobie’s seven-weekend Oktoberfest celebration opened in September with fall festivities that include a beer garden, traditional German food, music, rides, games and live entertainment. Get ready to rock this fall with the debut of a Tribute to AC/DC featuring the Los Angeles band, Bonfire, appearing September 14th through October 27th on Canobie’s Midway Stage.

Then SCREEEMFEST adds some fear to all the fun, haunting Canobie Lake Park each weekend from September 27th through October 27th. There’s plenty to “screeem” about with five haunted houses, including the new “Virus” where the screams will certainly be infectious. Also new this fall is the live “Side Show Variety Show” on the Park’s Midway Stage where strange feats of daring will be the norm.

Your favorite Canobie rides will be open during SCREEEMFEST along with Halloween games, Halloween characters and plenty of family fun. Canobie’s new Petting Zoo at the Pumpkin Palace will be open on Saturday and Sunday afternoons as well. Youngsters and their families can interact with a variety of gentle animals and enjoy a hay sculpture garden and activities geared especially for kids.

One low admission price during SCREEEMFEST includes all haunted houses, operating rides, entrance to Oktoberfest and the Petting Zoo, live entertainment and more. For Park hours, show schedules, directions and more information about fall events, visit Canobie Lake Park’s website.
