'Forensic Science' at the Kelley Library

A former police officer will discuss the basics of solving crimes by forensics.

The Kelley Library will present "Forensic Science" on July 22 with a former police officer discussing the basics of forensics in solving crimes.

The event is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Tim Craig will lead the talk. Afterward, audience members can test their forensic skills by learning how to fingerprint, cast footprints and extract DNA from strawberries, according to Kelley Library. 

The program is for children 10 and older, and registration is encouraged.
