The Prediction Trilogy – Ten Serious Predictions

This is the first in a three-part prediction trilogy. Today is predictions I truly believe will come true. In the future I will have  "10 shot in the dark predictions" that could come true but probably won't and, last but not least, "10 tongue in cheek predictions" that will probably never happen but you never know, until the fat lady sings.

10 – Maggie Hassan will be a one term governor.

9 – Carol Shea Porter will not win re-election.

8 – Sen. Marco Rubio will be the Republican presidential nominee in 2016.

7 – Rex Ryan will be fired at the end of this season.

6 – Phil Jackson will become coach of the Lakers for the third time.

5 – Kelly Ayotte will be the Republican vice presidential nominee in 2016.

4 – Josh Hamilton will sign with the Yankees.

3 – John Kerry will be named Secretary of State and Scott Brown will win Kerry's vacant Senate seat.

2 – Tim Goodridge will be hired to coach a college basketball team.

1 – The Patriots will win their fourth Super Bowl.

These are shots made in the dark all right. If the Patriots ever learn defense, maybe they will win their fourth super bowl again!

Dave, I likewise posted a series of predictions of both the federal level government and state level you can read here:

I'll be interested in coming back after a period of time to see who is the most accurate.

Ayotte for VP??? I think not. After she was asleep at the switch while all those good folks in the Lakes Region were being bilked out of their savings. She made headlines when she cancelled campaigning for the "rape is god's will" Senate candidate in Indiana. But, then she campaigned for Berg in North Dakota, who voted to make abortion a felony, when he was in the ND house. In additon she will be up for re-election in 2016 to the Senate. I do not know if she can run for two offices at the same time in NH or not. The good people of NH are unlikely to support her doing a double run....

No to 5, 3 and 1.

I will predict that Ayotte will not be re elected to the Senate. She is in way over her head and hasn't done anything for the State of NH.

John Kerry has been laying low lately, but he likes the ladies and let's not forget the time a young lady was caught exiting his Beacon Hill home after "dropping off a resume".

There is no way the Patriots will win it all this year and it won't be long til Tom gets traded to a west coast team so he can be closer to home.

"8 – Sen. Marco Rubio will be the Republican presidential nominee in 2016."

President may be a stretch. VP would be more likely. Someone who did not run in 2012 like Mitch Daniels or Tim Pawlenty would be a more likely nominee with Rubio as VP.
