Cornerstone Congratulates Gov. Maggie Hassan, Looks Forward to Collaboration

MANCHESTER, N.H.– Ashley Pratte, Executive Director of Cornerstone, today congratulated Governor Maggie Hassan on becoming Governor of the State of New Hampshire.

"I was delighted to hear Governor Hassan list in her inaugural address the values New Hampshire citizens hold dear,” said Pratte. “I look forward to working with
Governor Hassan and the legislature in promoting the principles of freedom, family, fiscal responsibility, and community.”

It's wonderful to hear that Cornerstone supports New Hampshire's families, which now included legally married same-sex couples, and LGBT members of all families. That's refreshing to hear.
I hope they mean it when they say they agree with Maggie's support of education. Education for all, not stealing public money to support private schools, is key to our state's economic and social future.
I'm glad that Cornerstone supports limited government. Keeping government out of a woman's health decisions would be a positive step forward.
Gee, I hope that's what you meant, Ashley!

Keith: to paraphrase John Lennon "You may say you're a dreamer...and you are the only one..."

The day Cornerstone does as you say, rapture, epiphany, and Jupiter aligning with Mars, and the GOP pushing for tax hikes would have to happen.

Seeing that to be the case.......start breathing again. Holding your breath for Cornerstone could cause problems for the thought processes...

I meant "Seeing that NOT to be the case..." Apparently my proofreading resolution for 2013 went out the window!

Dan, if another of your resolutions was to recognize sarcasm without prompting, that one goes out the window, too.
Or perhaps I need to make a resolution to make my sarcasm more clear.
Either way, don't worry about me holding my breath. I know it's all talk, and that Cornerstone has nothing to do with real family values.

Is Cornerstone no longer attacking marriage equality?

If Cornerstone supports families, then Cornerstone should be pro-union, because unions help provide families with the financial backing they need to succeed.

Unions have gouged the taxpayers, raised the prices of most consumer goods and services and are responsible for sending our jobs to foreign countries. There once was a time and place for unions. That time has come and gone. The purpose for which unions were created has long since given way to selfish greed.

BTW Ray I dont support Unions. The idea of only making as much as the dumbest guy on the site dosnt do much for me. If I was an employee I would be making the compay more money then he would and would want to be compensated for doing so. Once I no longer was I would loose interest in the job.

What a crock of bull. Cornerstone is trying to stay relevant, in light of the NH Republicans fighting with each other, and the fact that their candidates from 2010 through their overreaching has squelched the money they get in donations. This letter is like a picture of Karl Rove giving President Obama a handshake, a joke.

This letter will is/has been already been forgotten on both sides...
