Here's a list of some of the Salem government, school, office and other closures for Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23, in observance of Thanksgiving, organized by location:

• Town Hall will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23.
• U.S. Post Office will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22. It will be open Friday, Nov. 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Salem public schools will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23.
• Kelley Library will be closing at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21. The library will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23. The library will be open normal hours, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 24.
• The Salem Division of Motor Vehicles will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23.
• The Salem Transfer Station will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22. The transfer staion will be open Friday, Nov. 23 and Saturday, Nov. 24 from 7 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
• The Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce is closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23.
• Salem Animal Rescue League is closed the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 21 and on Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23. The shelter will be open Saturday, Nov. 24 and Sunday, Nov. 25, from 12 to 4 p.m.
• The Salem Boys & Girls Club will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23.
