View the Town Warrant/Budget Before Deliberative
Residents are invited to Salem High School today.
Today is Salem's annual town deliberative session, and we are offering residents the opportunity to view the town warrant articles and budget before the meeting takes place.
Including petitions, the town warrant features 22 articles.
Items of note are articles 6 and 7, which are related to the bridge and road programs. Both articles will be amended by Selectmen at the deliberative meeting to reflect lower bids.
Article 8 is related to the operating budget, which is being proposed at $37,491,052.
Articles 16-22 are all petitions, with only no. 16 having been recommended by the Board of Selectmen. Article 16 is related to the Kelley Library Employee Separation Trust Fund.
The PDF file on the right has all of the town warrant text that you need before the meeting, which is scheduled to take place at Salem High School between 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
