Gubernatorial candidate talked about the need for strong Granite State education, workforce.

With two weeks to go before voters head to the polls for the state primary election, former N.H. Senate Majority Leader (D-Exeter) brought her gubernatorial campaign to on Keewaydin Drive in Salem Tuesday morning

Hassan talked about the need for strong commitment to education to in turn create a strong New Hampshire workforce.

Core Medical, which specializes in medical staffing, is a company with about 115 employees and most are college educated, according to President and CEO Armand L. Circharo, Jr.

"We need to make sure our education system, all sectors, all levels, is aligned with the 21st century economy," Hassan said. "Because when we do that, and we have the best workforce in the country, innovating businesses will come here with good paying jobs and we will all thrive."
