1. SELECTMEN: The Salem Board of Selectmen will hold a regular meeting starting at 7 p.m. Monday in the Knightly Meeting Room of Town Hall. Here is the agenda.

2. SKI & SNOWBOARD REGISTRATION: Registration for the Salem Recreation Department's snowboarding and skiing program (which runs Fridays from Feb. 15 to March 22) begins Tuesday at the department in Town Hall. More information is available here.

3. ZONING BOARD: The Salem Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold their December meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Knightly Meeting Room of Town Hall. Take a look at their petitions here.

4. BUDGET COMMITTEE: On Wednesday, the Salem Municipal Budget Committee will begin their review of the 2013-2014 Salem School District budget. They will receive a presentation from the School Board starting at 7 p.m. in the Media Center at Salem High School.

5. TREE LIGHTING: The annual lighting of the Christmas tree at Veterans Park on Salem Common on Main Street will be held Thursday evening starting at 6:30 p.m.
