Salem Police Help Secret Service Nab Massachusetts Fugitive

Gursat Otucu was found hiding in a Salem hotel.

 

Salem Police assisted United States Secret Service and Belmont, Mass. Police on Friday in catching a suspect wanted on felony charges of larceny and uttering counterfeit notes.

Gursat Otucu, 42, of Belmont, Mass. was charged as a fugitive from justice.

Otucu was taken into custody without incident at 4 p.m. Friday after he was found hiding out at the La Quinta hotel.

He was processed and later held on $25,000 bail as a fugitive from justice.

This is why I always say Police deserve our respect and admiration. If the officer you are dealing with is having a bad day and not as nice as you would like, keep in mind they may have had to apprehend a guy like this before you. So be nice and give em a break! Kudos to the Salem PD for a great job!
