Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows about the area to participate.
Nominations were accepted on Salem Patch through July 9.
Winners in all Readers' Choice categories will be announced on Aug. 24.

How can the voting end on July 9th if the voting doesn't start until July 23rd. This is the sentence that is printed in the article. We will take nominations through July 9; voting begins July 23.

The nomination period is when we suggest businesses to be voted upon during the voting period. Following the nominations, we will be given full info on what locations received nominations so starting July 23 we can begin deciding upon our opinions.

My vote goes to the Subway on RT 28. Besides great sandwiches. It's always clean, the staff is friendly, they have Fee WIFI and they have a couple of awesome flat screens TVs. Stop bye and check it out
