The Eagle-Tribune reported Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, a fast food chain known for their fried chicken, will be opening their only New Hampshire location this weekend in Salem at 481 South Broadway, in a location formerly occupied by KFC, which closed earlier this year.

Franchisee Rob Parsons told the paper he is confident his business will work in the location despite the closure of KFC earlier this year. The paper noted there has been demand for a Popeyes location in New Hampshire, with previous locations in Manchester and Nashua closing.
